Humidity combines with extreme heat this week

Thunderstorms are a possibility today as humidity surges this morning. An Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect until Friday evening.

Highs today don't look too extreme, around 109, but in large part because the humidity will help hold temps down a bit.

High pressure remains in place through the week, ensuring highs well above normal all week.

Throughout the week, highs will climb close to 115. Be sure you're drinking plenty of water, staying hydrated, and checking on your neighbors. Heating centers are open throughout the Valley.
