Winter Storm on the Way

Increasing clouds tonight after a day of sunshine and mid-sixties, with rain starting here in the Valley by midday tomorrow.

A Flash Flood Watch covers portions Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties.

Underneath that, a Winter Storm Warning is up for Mountains in all of those counties, including our local mountains.

Rainfall is expected to be 1" to 2" in the Coastal Plains, with as much as 3" on the Western slopes, and somewhere between 0.50" and 1.00" of rain here in the Valley. Snowfall at the highest levels (above 5,000 feet) may reach 1 to 3 feet!

Much cooler weather will last through the weekend as well.
