A seasonal close to the workweek

Both Palm Springs and Thermal recorded high temperatures nine degrees warmer than yesterday! That's a notable warmup in just one day's time.

The next storm system to impact the west coast begins its trek inland tomorrow. Rain and snow will first fall in Northern California before the precipitation slides into the Southland.

Light showers are expected in the western half of the Coachella Valley, near the pass, while the rest of the desert experiences mostly cloudy skies.

Temperatures will be near 70° this weekend with more sunshine awaiting us on Monday.
