Heatwave in place for the weekend
Highs remain well above normal through the weekend, so the Excessive Heat Warning continues through Monday.
The heat is not just focused on the Coachella Valley, virtually all of California remains under some form of heat advisory or warning.
High pressure is pouring on the heat, and holding the Jetstream well to our North so the summer-like conditions persist. We do see a decent drop in daytime highs by the middle of next week.
