A few clouds and gusty winds in the forecast

A weak area of low pressure over Northern California is slowly moving southward, but will hover along the coast. That means coastal showers, but just some passing clouds for the Valley today and into early tomorrow.

The passing low pressure will result in some strong winds for the region from late Wednesday into midday Thursday. The Weather Service has issued a High Wind Watch (likely to become a warning) for the mountains and pass areas, and a Wind Advisory for the Coachella Valley from 8pm tomorrow through 1pm Thursday due to those gusty winds.

The clouds will also help keep temps in check through the week, hovering very close to our seasonal norm of 70.

Rainfall will move through San Diego County and into Northern Baja before sliding east into Arizona, bypassing much of SoCal in the process.

All week long you can expect highs in the upper 60s, with lower 70s arriving into the weekend under sunny skies.
