Spectacular weather this weekend
THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – It's another gorgeous day in the Coachella Valley. Highs are still running about 10° warmer than usual and it's feeling more like spring than winter – but it feels great!
We've been getting the best of both worlds lately: cool mornings that give way to warm afternoons. Expect the same tomorrow, with temperatures in the 60s as you wake up ahead of highs in the upper 70s. Highs Saturday have been in the low 80s, so this represents a slight drop in temperatures for Sunday... but certainly still T-shirt and shorts weather.

Looking ahead, we're still expecting warmer than normal temperatures in the next 6-10 days, though likely not to the extent that we're seeing now.

It's a fantastic forecast for the holiday weekend. Through Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, highs remain in the upper 70s. A very gradual cooldown should take us into the mid 70s late in the week ahead of a potential return to the low 70s by next weekend.
