Cooler and cloudier today and tomorrow

Temps hit 85 yesterday, but we're looking at cooler highs today into the rest of the week with temps in the 70s. A weak area of low pressure moves into the region today, so skies will remain cloudy, and expect some gusty winds, too.

A Wind Advisory will be in effect until 1 p.m. tomorrow for areas North and West of the Coachella Valley.

Winds here in the Valley will hover in the middle teens, with some gusts to the 20 m.p.h. range.

Highs today will be about 5 or 6 degrees lower than yesterday, in the upper 70s.

There is a tiny chance of a sprinkle tomorrow afternoon as this weak system slides through, but rainfall is unlikely.

Temps through the rest of the week will in the lower and middle 70s, with another storm arriving early next week. Temps drop in the upper 60s, and there's a better chance of scattered showers on Monday.
