Extreme heat continues through the weekend

High pressure continues to dominate the forecast and push temps into record territory.

Records yesterday include Palm Springs, Indio and Thermal.

High pressure remains in place through much of next week, with an Extreme Heat Warning up through tomorrow evening.

While we do see slight "cooling" into next week, highs remain in the triple digits and at record levels.
