Palm Desert Drowning victim identified

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has identified 87-year-old Roland Evans as the man who drowned in a Palm Desert pool Friday morning. The incident happened just before 8 a.m. in the 77000 Block of Westbrook Court in the White Hawk neighborhood, off Country Club drive.
