Power outage in Palm Desert

Hundreds of Southern California Edison customers in a Palm Desert neighborhood were without power Monday evening and early Tuesday.

A neighborhood West of Portola, just East of Civic Park in Palm Desert had been without power since 1:30 a.m.

At it’s peak 216 customers were impacted.

All service was restored by 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Approximately 81 customers in the area remained without power early Tuesday.

Edison crews were on scene working to fix the equipment issues that caused the outage.

Power was estimated to be restored by 6:00 a.m.
