Free to tee: The Prestige college golf tournament hosting free junior clinic Sunday, Feb. 19

Next week 24 collegiate teams will be teeing it up at the Greg Norman Course at PGA West for the 23rd edition of the Prestige golf tournament.

On Sunday, Feb. 19, the tournament will host a free junior clinic.

Featured this year will be Texas Tech standout Ludvig Aberg, the #1 amateur in the world and the current PGA Tour University #1 rated player.

The Prestige Junior Clinic is emceed by two time NCAA Champion Coach Conrad Ray who was also a NCAA Champion player at Stanford and also played with Tiger at Stanford. Many of the coaches of the 24 teams in The Prestige field providing instructions to kids from about 4 years old through high school. 

This is the only junior golf clinic in which there are many of the best college coaches along with the #1 amateur int he world on hand along with some great exhibits and giveaways.

The Prestige is second in duration as the longest major golf tournament in the Coachella Valley and as a non-profit tournament, the tournament brings together the SCGA, First Tee and also Guide Dogs of the Desert.

Tournament play will start Monday, Feb. 20 and finish on Wednesday, Feb. 22. Admission is free.
