Local business owners send warning after a pair of break-ins
Two business owners in the Smoke Tree Village Shopping Center in Palm Springs are warning other business owners after they were burglarized.
“These guys were pros they had masks on, they have gloves on," said Joe Funkey, owner Giuseppe's Pizzeria.

“Money, oh no doubt they didn’t want anything else. They only look for money," said Funkey.
The surveillance video showed two people with black jackets shattering the glass front door.
Funkey said the thieves got away with nothing.
They head to the kitchen, kicked the office door, making a hole and then worked their way to open it.
"These guys rob restaurants. No restaurants have money. We never have money its all credit cards," said Funkey.
The burglars also hit Native Foods Cafe overnight, shattering the business' front door.
“It’s definitely alarming and scary a little bit but we are getting it fixed, and we’ll be okay," said Misty Rauch, general manager from Native Foods Cafe.
Rauch said they're thinking about making some changes.
“I mean we are definitely going to look further safety precautions moving forward," said Rauch.
Funkey also plans to improve his surveillance footage.
“I am going to replace some of the lights with LED lights in the ceiling because I noticed when we have lights outside everything is in color when its dark in the restaurant everything is in black in white. They still pick it up pretty good but not as good with lights," said Funkey.
Three Long Beach area residents were arrested in connection with the burglaries.
Police said this is very active investigation and additional arrests will be made if other suspects are identified.
