Vacant home burns in Palm Desert
An investigation is underway in Palm Desert after a boarded-up home went up in flames Wednesday night.
The fire ignited at 9:40 p.m. in the area of Fred Waring and Deep Canyon near Sacred Heart Church, according to Cal Fire.
Crews found power lines down amid the flames, but there were no reported outages.
No injuries were reported. No word on what started the fire, it is still under investigation.
