Local businesses take part in 2023 Coachella Valley Fast Pitch competition
Four Coachella Valley businesses competed at this year’s fast pitch competition today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Palm Desert iHub on Cook Street.
Two of the companies, Hello Computer, Inc. and Moducan Corporation are clients of iHub.
The Co-Founder and CEO of Hello Computer Inc., Rossana Jeran, pitched her app-based digital learning tool, which she and her business partner said are designed to promote literacy for preschool and kindergarten aged children.
The CEO and Founder of Moducan Corporation, Guy Assif, pitched his system of modular tactical buildings, disaster response and defense systems, which are "designed and engineered to enable a wide variety of quickly deployable solutions that are simple to erect and construct using a small crew," according to his company's website.
All contestants participated in the Shark Tank-style, quick-fire presentation for the chance to win cash and prizes.
The competition was free and open to the public. Audience members got the chance to vote for their favorite pitch
