Clear skies for the weekend
Similar to yesterday, Palm Springs recorded a high temperature in the low 70s. 68° is average for today's date so a seasonable day was felt by all in the desert.
Today provided a break in the wind after Thursday's gusty setup. Wind speeds will strengthen yet again Saturday morning; gusty for the mountains but breezy for the valley floor.
Looking at the weekend and start of the next work week, expect a lot of sunshine and more of the same when we're talking temperatures.
