Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to visit China in October, Kremlin says

MOSCOW (AP) — A top Kremlin official says Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to visit China in October. Russian news agencies quoted Putin’s foreign policy adviser, Yuri Ushakov, as saying the trip will be timed to coincide with a “One Belt, One Road” forum in China. The adviser, Yuri Ushakov said Tuesday that Putin also plans to travel to Turkey at some point and has been invited to participate in a Group of 20 summit in India in September. The announcement of the Russian leader’s travel plans came days after South African officials said Putin agreed to skip an economic summit in their country because of an arrest warrant the International Criminal Court issued against him.,
