Clarification: White House K-12 Ransomware story

In a story published Aug. 8, 2023, The Associated Press reported on the first White House summit on the ransomware crisis plaguing the nation’s public schools. The story should have made clear that Keith Krueger, CEO of the nonprofit Consortium for School Networking, called for making several hundred million dollars, not $1 billion, available annually from the FCC’s E-Rate program to strengthen cybersecurity in public schools.
