Correction: Italy-Youth Crime story

ROME (AP) — In a story published Sept. 7, 2023, about an Italian government crackdown on juvenile crime, The Associated Press erroneously reported that under a Cabinet decree, children as young as 6 could be arrested. The Cabinet decree expands the conditions under which juveniles older than 14 can be arrested and jailed, but it doesn’t lower the age to 6.
