Road closures in Palm Springs December 3 and 7 for aircrafts moving to and from Convention Center

Prepare for road closures throughout the City of Palm Springs as the 2023 National Agricultural Aviation Association Expo takes over the Palm Springs Convention Center, December 4-7.

Starting 4 a.m. on Sunday, December 3 crews will be moving five aircrafts from Palm Springs International Airport to the Convention Center off 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.

The airplanes will be towed from the airport at Alejo Road, traveling west to Avenida Caballeros; they will turn left (south) on Avenida Caballeros to Amado. The planes will take a right (heading west) to Amado and then a left (south) on Calle Alvarado where they will remain until they return to the Airport on Thursday, December 7.

Then on Thursday December, 7 the aircrafts will be moved back to Palm Springs International Airport through city streets. Those closures are estimated to take about two hours.
