Fake police, fire officials soliciting donations in Desert Hot Springs

There have been reports of suspect solicitors posing as police and fire officials in Desert Hot Springs. 

These suspect solicitors have been reported to be going door-to-door, soliciting donations from residents in residential neighborhoods.

The Desert Hot Springs Police Department has advised residents about unknown people posing as police and fire officials and asking for donations. 

The solicitors are in uniform.
