SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A judge will set prison sentences for parenting advice blogger Ruby Franke and her business partner after they each admitted to physically and emotionally abusing Franke’s children. Franke and mental health counselor Jodi Hildebrandt could speak for the first time in their back-to-back sentencing hearings since they each pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated child abuse for harming Franke’s two youngest children. Judge John J. Walton has accepted plea agreements from both women in which they agreed to serve prison terms. Each charge carries a prison sentence of one to 15 years, which could run consecutively. The women were arrested last summer after one of Franke’s sons escaped through a window.
