Showers and gusty winds start the week

A front moving through will provide some gusty winds and spotty showers through tonight, and a Wind Advisory is posted for areas surrounding the Coachella Valley.

Winds are likely to be strong through the Pass, but expect some gusty conditions here, too through tomorrow morning.

Wind speeds will reach the mid-20 m.p.h. range.

Showers will be light and widely scattered around the region, with more rain expected in the mountains.

We will clear out through midweek with mild conditions, but a stronger front approaches into the weekend, bringing another chance of rain along with cooler conditions, too.
