Highs still running a bit above average
UpdatedWe hit 113 degrees yesterday and we’ll be similar later this afternoon as high pressure propels temps a few degrees above normal (108). That ridge of high pressure will be persistent, lasting through the week. This has prompted an Extreme Heat Warning for areas surrounding the Coachella Valley, up until Friday evening at 8 p.m.
