Calmer, clearing and warmer for the weekend
Another brief bout of showers passed through the Valley in the evening hours of Thursday but we are clearing out today, and should warm up a bit as an area of low pressure slowly moves away from the region.
Highs today will be close to our seasonally norms, but running a couple of degrees below that mark of 79 degrees.
In the weekend, daytime highs climb to near 80, with some modest cooling into early next week.
