Two in critical condition after vehicle crashes into tree in Coachella
Two people were rushed to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a tree Thursday night in Coachella.
The crash was reported at around 10:46 p.m. in the area of Grapefruit Boulevard and Avenue 49.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, two occupants in the vehicle were extracted by CAL FIRE and transported to a local hospital.
Authorities told News Channel 3 Friday afternoon that the two patients remain in critical condition.
There was no information available the circumstances that led to the crash.
