Friday 2/21 basketball – Cathedral City falls in semis, COD closes season with win, Globetrotters show off at Shadow Hills

Friday night sports features a lot of basketball and at a variety of levels.

In high school, Cathedral City came up short in their 5a semifinal game to Banning 51-39. The Lions' season ends with the loss.

In community college, COD closed out their regular season with a win on Sophomore Night. The Roadrunners won 75-72 to end the league season at 8-8.

In entertainment and exhibition, the Harlem Globetrotters dazzled in front of a good crowd at Shadow Hills high school in Indio.
