Spot fires burning near Pinyon Pines

Cal Fire shared on X the Highway 74 Fire was burning south of Belvedere Rd. in Anza.

Two fires were identified, one was burning at 1/4 acre while the other burned half an acre in heavy brush.

The large fire grew to about four acres with three small spots, by 9:55 p.m. Cal Fire Riverside County Fire officials shared the forward rate of spread had stopped.

We're tracking multiple spot fires burning a little over a mile West of Pinyon Pines.

Cal Fire officials reported at least one of the fires reached five acres.

California Highway Patrol's incident report page shows the fire burning near State Route 74 and Palm Canyon Drive.
