EXCLUSIVE: Video shows explosive brawl at the Date Festival
In an instant, the Riverside County Fair and Date Festival turned hostile. Video shared exclusively with News Channel 3 shows punches flying and a man being thrown into a metal fence.
"People were getting knocked to the ground and kicked in the face and people were getting pretty hurt," said the man who captured the video.
He didn't wish to be identified, but said the man arrested in the fight, 18-year-old Luis Valenzuela, has known gang affiliations. Everyone else reportedly took off. Police say no one was injured.
"He just tries to start problems all the time," the man said. "A lot of guys and girls, they go to the fair for the wrong reasons: to start fights. And I noticed they were looking at a group of guys a certain way, so they were just looking for trouble."
