Jake Ingrassia
KESQ

Jake is a news reporter for KESQ News Channel 3.

Before shipping out to the Coachella Valley in June 2018, Jake worked at ABC News in Los Angeles, producing for Good Morning America and World News Tonight. Jake recently earned his Master’s degree in broadcast and digital journalism from USC, anchoring and reporting for Annenberg TV News and serving as Digital Editor of Annenberg Media.

Originally a New Yorker, Jake got his start in journalism at just 11 years old -- visiting his hometown local news station, News 12 Long Island, on Take Your Child To Work Day. He began producing weekly newscasts for his family with a webcam in his basement until he was old enough to get a summer internship at News 12 reporting for real.

Previously, Jake has worked at ABC News’ World News Tonight with David Muir and 20/20 in New York City. He has also interned at WFMZ-69 News in Pennsylvania.

When he’s not working, Jake loves discovering new music, going to concerts and being active outdoors.
