Local Coachella Valley firefighter shares experience battling Line Fire

About 4,000 fire personnel have worked to battle the Line Fire.

The fire has burned more than 39,000 acres, injuring at least three firefighters, damaging four structures and destroying one.

Captain Kidd, a Cathedral City firefighter, is one of the firefighters who has been on the front lines.
