Excessive heat warning for the weekend

Highs hit 111 yesterday, tying the previous for the second day in a row.

High pressure remains in control of our forecast through most of next week.

Underneath that ridge of high pressure, an Excessive Heat Warning goes into effect this morning, lasting through Saturday evening.

We will continue to track the heat and it's impacts across the region.

Highs don't really drop much even into next week, with temps running ten degrees above average.
