PHOENIX (AP) — Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says Donald Trump would push to remove fluoride from drinking water on his first day in office, if elected president. Kennedy is a prominent proponent of debunked public health claims. Kennedy may be in line to lead health initiatives if Trump wins the White House. Kennedy made the declaration Saturday on the social media platform X. Trump told NBC News on Sunday that he hadn’t discussed the idea with Kennedy “but it sounds OK to me.” He declined to say whether he’d seek a Cabinet role for Kennedy, but said Kennedy is “going to have a big role in the administration.”
