Two people injured in Tuesday morning crash in Palm Desert

PALM DESERT, Calif. (KESQ) - Two people were hospitalized after a crash Tuesday morning in Palm Desert.

The crash was first reported at around 7:30 a.m. on the 74000 block of Country Club Drive.

"The first arriving engine reported a two-vehicle traffic collision," reads an email from CAL FIRE to News Channel 3. "A total of two patients were transported by ground ambulance to a local area hospital with minor and moderate injuries. No additional injuries were reported."

CAL FIRE noted that the incident has been turned over to law enforcement.
