Fire Crews work fast to put out mountain fire near Ramon Road
A small fire erupted on the mountainside of South Palm Springs just before 5:30 pm Sunday evening.
Crews hiked up to the fire that was burning in heavy vegetation near Ramon Road and La Mirada Road and were able to douse the flames before it climbed up the mountain.
It took crews less than 30 minutes to gain control and put out the flames.
