A touch warmer than usual as we finish the weekend and start the workweek
THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – No complaints in the weather department this Sunday afternoon! Most spots in the valley this afternoon are slightly warmer than yesterday, when Palm Springs saw a high of 91°. Today's high was expected to be a degree or two warmer, which is exactly what we're seeing so far.

We're expecting the warmest weather of the week tomorrow, with highs staying in the low 90s. Our average is 90° for this time of year, so we'll likely be a couple of ticks north of that value.

In roughly a week's time, we're expecting more near-seasonal conditions. It's been very pleasant and it's feeling like a typical desert fall!

Highs are stable as we start the workweek, but a sharp drop in our temperatures is expected on Wednesday as a low pressure system begins impacting SoCal. This will lead to cooler than normal temps across our region, with some drizzles possible to our west. Local impacts will likely just be an increase in our winds. Highs climb again into Friday before another system could bring cooler and breezier with next weekend and beyond. A bit of a rollercoaster this week, but it's feeling great throughout the desert!
