Chamber of commerce weather remain in the valley
Good evening. It's another warm and mild day here locally. Overall, the weather pattern has been very persistent and stable for quite some time. That trend will continue for this week. High pressure aloft is leading to repeatedly warmer-than-average temperatures. This is keeping the particularly strong atmospheric river in the Pacific Northwest, and leaving us with picture-perfect weather.

As a result of the strong ridge of high pressure, there are some air quality alerts in place across the region. None of these include the Coachella Valley; however, they are still worth noting. A No-burn alert is covered by the area(s) shaded in yellow. The gray color represents a Dense Fog Advisory, which is mainly affecting the LA Basin, San Diego, and other areas near the coast, like much of Orange County.

Highs in the 80s will persist for at least the next week or so. There's really not going to be any notable changes until closer to Christmas. A few clouds will join us here and there and highs will fluctuate day by day.
