Outage impacts more than 2200 customers in Palm Springs Wednesday evening

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - A power outage is impacting thousands of customers on Christmas Eve in Palm Springs.

As of 6:15 p.m., 2,286 customers are without power. The outage was reported near the E Via Escuela and N Sunrise Way.

There is no word on a possible cause or estimated restoration time.
