Firebirds sweep Stars with 6-3 victory in Texas, have won three straight

COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) -- The Coachella Valley Firebirds defeated the Texas Stars 6-3 on Wednesday night in Cedar Park.

Coachella Valley took two straight in Texas to earn the sweep over the Stars, scoring a combined 11 goals over the two game series.

The Firebirds have won three in a row and improve to 19-12-4-0 on the season.

CV wraps up their three-game road trip on Saturday, Jan. 17 against the San Diego Gulls, before returning home Sunday, Jan. 18 against the Abbotsford Canucks.
