Picture-perfect conditions as Tour de Palm Springs kicks off on Saturday!
THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – Expect a warm, sunny day across the Coachella Valley as cyclists take on the Tour de Palm Springs today! While 10° to 15° warmer than usual for this time of year, we continue to have arguably the best weather in the country.
Here's a look at temperatures through the day today. The Tour kicks off bright and early as the sun comes up at 6:30 a.m. to some cool temperatures.

We warm nicely through the morning and into the afternoon.

Things should top out a touch warmer than yesterday (80° in Palm Springs). We're looking at highs in the low to mid 80s across the valley.

We stay warm through the weekend before a shift in our weather pattern is introduced next Tuesday. This should drop our temperatures into the low to mid 70s for the remainder of the week – much closer to seasonal weather. There are some rain chances thanks to this pattern change, but early indications appear dry locally. In the long-term, another shot with better chances is on the horizon for next weekend, but a lot can change between now and then!
