Three people displaced after fire damages home in Indio

INDIO, Calif. (KESQ) - Two adults and a child were displaced after a fire at a home Indio Monday afternoon.

The fire was reported just before 2:45 p.m. on the 82200 block of Kenner Avenue.

"Firefighters are on-scene of a well involved structure fire with exposure issues to a neighboring structure," reads a social media post by CAL FIRE.

A plume of smoke was seen in parts of the Coachella Valley.

The fire was contained by 3:10 p.m. FIrefighters will be committed for two hours for extensive overhaul.

No injuries were reported.
