Palm Desert resident raises concerns about faded traffic signs along I-10 Washington exit

KESQ

PALM DESERT, Calif. (KESQ) - A Palm Desert local is raising concerns about faded and worn traffic signs along the Interstate 10 Washington Street exit.

Becky Nelson says she's reached out to city and county authorities regarding faded 'no U-turn' signs along the freeway bridge, but has yet to see any action taken.

Nelson says the reflective paint on some signs has faded and she worries that could impact visibility for drivers at night.

News Channel 3 found several faded signs on the bridge's intersection driving north towards Varner Road.

Now, we're working to get results for Nelson and update the interchange's signs.

Tune in this evening at 10 and 11 p.m. for the full story.
