Extreme Heat Warning issued August 26 at 3:20AM PDT until August 28 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS San Diego CA

* WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures in the mid
90s to 105 expected.

* WHERE…Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills.

* WHEN…Until 8 PM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Low temperatures 5 to 10 degrees above normal
will limit relief from the heat. Increasing temperatures through
Friday will increase the threat of heat-related illness across
populations.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
