Muggy, cooler conditions with chance for showers

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) — Hurricane Marie is making its impact, raising dew points drastically compared with this time yesterday.

Additionally, it’s brought chances for light showers this morning through the afternoon. In fact, some parts of the Coachella Valley have already seen some rain.

Today’s highs will be well below seasonal averages, around 94 degrees in Thousand Palms.

However, it is the beginning of a slight warming trend as we start the new week, with our highest temperatures coming Wednesday and Thursday. So, although it’s muggy, enjoy the cooler conditions while they last.
