Fantastic & Nice Kickoff to Fall

Fall officially arrives at 5:05pm today, but temperatures are warming up the Coachella Valley, with highs running 3–4 degrees above average through the end of the week.

Overnight lows will also warm into the upper 70s, so we're looking at a return of Moderate HeatRisk during the second half of the week.

Thursday afternoon, I’m watching a little moisture sneaking back into SoCal, which could lead to a very slight chance of isolated thunderstorms over the mountains, but overall, the valley looks like it'll remain dry.

Another system could bring cooler conditions back to the valley early next week.
