Palm Springs man killed in Anza traffic collision

ANZA WRECK

A Palm Springs man was killed in an Anza traffic collision Wednesday afternoon.

The crash was reported at 2:57 p.m. on State Highway 371 east of Burnt Valley Road.

Emergency crews say they found Albert Farrell, 79, dead at the scene minutes after the collision. Another person was injured.

Farrell was later publicly identified by the Riverside County Coroner's Office.

The Sheriffs Department did not say whether Farrell was driving the motorcycle or a car at the time of the wreck.

The survivor was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
