Triple digits have arrived!

Yesterday we were able to say "it's the hottest day of the year so far".
Today we can say the exact same thing.

Palm Springs recorded a high temperature of 101 degrees this afternoon, making it the first day the city has hit the century mark in 2020!

Wait for the sun to set for temperatures to cool for a safer, and more comfortable walk around the neighborhood with your furry friend.
Tip: if the ground is too hot for you to hold your hand on it; it's too hot for their paws!

The ridge of high pressure that's been building in from the west will continue to do so through tomorrow.

This will keep afternoon temperatures in the low 100s for the foreseeable future.
