Man shot in Coachella neighborhood
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting in the area of Agua Blanca Street in the city of Coachella Tuesday afternoon.
According to Corporal Murphy, a spokesperson for the Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to the area at around 12:28 p.m. following reports of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Deputies arrived at the scene and found an adult male with two non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The man has been transported to the hospital.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
