Major injuries reported in a rollover crash on Interstate 10 near Bob Hope Drive

A driver was transported to the hospital with major injuries after a single-vehicle rollover on Interstate 10 about a half a mile west of Bob Hope Drive.

Officers at the scene told News Channel 3 that the driver was traveling westbound on the I-10 when, for reasons that currently remain unclear, she veered off the roadway.

The vehicle ended up hitting the embankment, causing it to roll over into the ravine area off about 50 feet off the roadway. Officers arrived on scene and found the vehicle on its roof.

Traffic is not impacted by the crash.
