N Indian Canyon closed at the Whitewater Wash due to low visibility

The Palm Springs Police Department announced that N. Indian Canyon Drive has been closed at the Whitewater Wash, just off the Interstate 10 exit, due to low visibility.

There is no estimate for when the roadway will be reopened. According to our First Alert Weather team, the valley is in a wind advisory through Sunday morning, bringing moderately gusty winds (particularly for the evening hours).
