Reward offered for information on mysterious death
The Mother of a man found mysteriously dead offering reward for information on the case.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the body of 30-year-old Eric Littleton was found dumped along a dirt road south of Desert Hot Springs on the morning of Aug. 6.
Littleton’s mother Michelle Jesse, who lives in Kentucky, has made multiple trips to the valley seeking answers regarding his mysterious death.
Jesse told KESQ & CBS Local 2 that Littleton was found in a remote area, wearing only a pair of shorts and his earrings. He was not wearing shoes and his personal items were not found on him. Jesse says that wearing minimal clothes was not in his character.
Investigators said Littleton had been decomposing out in the elements for weeks and his body had been eaten by coyotes and scavengers. The body was in such bad shape, the coroner has been unable to determine the exact cause of death, Jesse told KESQ & CBS Local 2 in January.
Her latest trip to the Coachella Valley has left her once again with no new clues.
Thursday afternoon, Jesse announced that she is teaming up with CrimeStoppers of the Desert to offer a reward of $2,500 dollars to anyone who could provide evidence which would lead to the cause of death of her son.
